An African Hunt Tour (1 – 6 September 2023)


All costs are included from arrival at the Cape Town International airport. This includes all transport, activities, 3 meals per day, accommodation and a more than a reasonable amount of drinks.

Short tour description: (day by day)

Day 1:  Arrive in Johannesburg and have a relaxed afternoon before moving to a Round Table Clubhouse for a welcoming spit braai.  

Day 2: Drive to Welkom for lunch at a local hunting shop before moving off to the game farm. On arrival, there will be time to shoot with your own guns or to get to know your rented weapons. Dinner is a braai under the African night sky.

Day 3:  Today will be focused on an African Macnab challenge where an antelope, bird, and a fish must be taken in a single day. With 25 species of antelope available, you will be spoilt for a choice of trophies. Bass fishing, crossbow shooting and other activities are available as needed. Sundowners at a local dam. An evening spent under the African sky with local food.

Day 4 and 5:  Focussed hunting days with other activities for non-hunters to never be bored. An evening spent under the African sky with local food with some night jackal hunting. The taxidermist will be on-site for all your long-term trophy needs.  

Day 5:  An early morning hunt is followed by the experience of a lifetime. A driven hunt is arranged for everyone to take an option of 5 species, included in the package price. A Rhino experience will be had where all participants will get up close with the endangered African Rhino. Sundowners and dinner on the mountain, viewing the Rhinos. Live music will close out the last night.

Day 6:  Drive back to Gauteng, and have lunch at the Golden East 181 clubhouse with a few drinks before flying down to Cape Town for the World Meeting.
