Description

Short tour description:

Bus departs the hotel at 08h15 and drives to Hout Bay for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Once you grabbed your gear included in the package and gone through a short training session, we head out to snorkel with the Cape Fur seals. The Cape Fur Seal (also known as the brown fur seal / African fur seal) is the largest and strongest fur seal weighing between 100 – 300kg.  They are very friendly and curious in the water and enjoy human interaction. They are known as the puppies of the sea, and you will see them up close in their natural habitat.

Lunch will be at Mariners Wharf, with drinks included. On the way back to Cape Town, we will stop in Camps Bay for a last dip in a local tidal pool, followed by a cocktail, before returning to the hotel.

The bus arrives back at the hotels at around 16h00

Underwater cameras or GoPro’s highly recommended.

*Note that this day tour is weather dependent and will follow an alternative programme in case of bad weather.
